A television based on the area of Hebburn has returned to our television screens. The series originally aired for two series between 2012 and 2013, starring actors including Chris Ramsey, Kimberley Nixon, Jim Moir, Gina McKee, Pat Dunn, Lisa McGrillis and Victoria Elliott.
Hebburn is a heart-warming comedy, which stars Jack (Chris Ramsey) who returns home to Tyneside - with a surprise wife in tow, it is time to introduce her the parents.

The series was written by Hebburn-born comedian and writer Jason Cook, who also stars as Ramsey in the series.
Chatting about the show when it first aired, The Independent said: 'Hebburn has some of the sentiment of The Royle Family and some of the wit of Gavin & Stacey'. Can't be bad, can it?
