Fenwick Newcastle have unveiled their famous festive Christmas window this evening.
The theme this year is based on Clarice Bean - 'Think Like An Elf' by author Lauren Child, the writer known for being behind the books of children's television series 'Charlie and Lola'.
Starting at 6.30pm this evening, on Facebook and YouTube, the luxury department store showcased the theme in a series of videos, showcasing this years magical window.
The theme describes that Clarice tries 'exceptionordinarily' hard to save her families Christmas and ensure that the spirit of Christmas does not float away.
The book blurb reads: "The one and only Clarice Bean is back to save her family's Christmas in this sparkling story of joy, goodwill to all peoplekind, and some very Clarice catastrophes, perfect for sharing with all the family! Wrap yourself in the warmth and wit of former Children's Laureate Lauren Child and be transported by the love and laughter that is Christmas with the utterly irreplaceable Clarice Bean."
During the YouTube premiere of the window, only a handful of people were selected to attend a private unveiling of the window.
Clarice Bean is the 'brain child' of author Lauren Childs, best known for writing the 'Charlie and Lola' television series books.
Fenwick's Christmas traditions have been running for decades, from the window, to Santa visits and much more.
