Newcastle travel to Merseyside to take on Frank Lampard’s Everton Live on Amazon prime with the game kicking off at 19:45.

Newcastle will be looking to get back to winning ways after defeat by Chelsea on Sunday. VAR dismissed two clear penalty decisions for the Magpies which robbed the Mags of at least a draw at the Bridge.

Away tickets for the trip to Merseyside sold out and the Toon Army will travel to cheer on there team in another Thursday night game. Eddie Howe will look for an immediate response with some of his star men returning from injury, however the Everton game potentially has come to soon for inspirational midfielder Jonjo Shelvey who misses out through injury.

Ryan Fraser & Alain St Maximin and Joe Willock will make returns for the game. Newcastle will be looking to complete the first league double of the season having defeated tomorrows hosts 3-1 in the corresponding fixture.

Everton will do a late fitness test on Striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The hosts will be without Mina, Davies & Kenny who serves a suspension. former loan striker and Newcastle Cult Hero Solomon Rondon is likely to start against the Magpies in what would be an emotional reunion for the Venezuelan.

Interestingly Everton have gone a staggering 372 minutes without finding the opposing teams net. Chris Wood and the like swill really fancy getting his second goal for the Mags. Fans are speculating that Howe has rested some of his star names for this fixture in what fans already see as an easy banker against a woeful Everton side.

A likely 4-3-3 formation for the mags will see Fraser and ASM link up with the hard working Chris Wood. The Travelling Magpies however an upturn in form for the Geordies will see Everton face a real test of resolve and hard work.
