Team Valley Valentines Fun Fair Cancelled Due To 'Loss Of Land'

Sad news for fans of Team Valley's famous Valentines Fun Fair, as it has been cancelled again this year.
In a statement on the Fun Fair's official Facebook page, the organisers said:
''Valentines Fun Fair 2022 has been cancelled due to the loss of the land where we go. Everyone has worked very hard over the last 5 days, working with Gateshead Council, the Mayor, local Ward Councillors and the Safety Advisory Group to try to get this decision overturned or to find a suitable alternative site.''
''Sadly we were unable to therefore the Valentines Fun Fair 2022 is cancelled, we all know how much you were all looking forward to coming along and would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for your support over the years.
We will be back in some form, somewhere in the future, but for now sorry.
The team at Valentines Fun Fair 2022.''
