Toys 'R'Us fans were shocked to find out that the toy favourite is set to return in 2022.
Toys 'R' Us was one of the most loved toy shops for decades, launching in 1985.
In 2018 there was an attempt to buy all 100 UK stores, but a deal could not be reached, forcing all stores to close in the same year.
However, fans were delighted this evening, as a message has appeared on the Toys 'R' Us official website.
It read: "We can't wait to see you again - Toys "R" Us UK is returning soon - early 2022".
Shoppers are advised to become a 'VIP subscriber' by signing up to a new mailing list via their site.
