Prime Minister Boris Johnson told House Of Commons that he is sorry and that he will ‘fix it’.

It comes after Sue Gray released information about her report, in which she described ’serious failures’ of leadership. The full investigation is still underway by the Met Police.

Johnson said he accepts Gray’s report in full and added: “I’m sorry for the things we simply didn’t get right and also sorry for the way that this matter has been handled.”

“Above all her recommendation that we must learn from these events and act now”.

Sue Gray’s report read:

“There is significant learning to be drawn from these events which must be addressed immediately across Government. This does not need to wait for the police investigations to be concluded”
