Person has been taken to hospital after attack in Gateshead
Northumbria Police have confirmed there had been a suspected assault, with one person arrested.
It is believed to have happened on Saturday at 10.15pm outside Dirty Habit, on Front Street, in Whickham, Gateshead.
Paramedics were at the scene at the time and treated one person for their injuries.
North East Ambulance Service said "We received a call just after 10.15pm last night. We then dispatched a paramedic crew and we took one patient to hospital with suspected head and neck injuries."
