''So terribly sad to hear that John Miles has died. A huge talent, a North East legend, and a lovely guy. It was a joy to have known him, and to have played his songs on my radio shows. Much love to Eileen, Tanya and John Miles Jnr.'' (Paddy MacDee via Facebook)
