As we head into the festive season, it wouldn't be Christmas without Newcastle's luxury department, Fenwick, Christmas Window!

Like last year, thousands watched the window reveal on Facebook Live, on Sunday 7th Nov, 7.30pm via the Fenwick Facebook page.

As usual, we did not know the theme of this years window, as it is usually kept a secret until the unveiling.

Fenwick said in a statement, "For the past 50 years, Fenwick has brought the Newcastle community together through the unveiling of its iconic Christmas window. This year will be no different, so pull on your favourite woolly jumper, gather with your friends and family and join Fenwick, from the comfort of your home, for a festive extravaganza,".

Past years have seen the likes of The Snowman, last years Wind In The Willows, as well as Charlie & The Chocolate Factory amongst many more.

Visitors were advised NOT to visit the window, on Northumberland St, as the street was closed for safety reasons due to crowding and social distancing.

Special visitors were able to watch, however, only selected school children and hospital visitors were invited to attend.
